Did you know that March is National Nutrition Month® (NNM), created by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics? As a enteral feeding consumer or caregiver, you are no stranger to the importance of maintaining a healthy diet.
This year’s NNM theme is “Put Your Best Fork Forward” and, while many feeding tube consumers do not eat or drink anything orally, the theme serves as a reminder that each one of us has the power to make healthier food choices—whether that’s solid food, blended meals or packaged formula.
To celebrate NNM and help educate the public on healthy eating, the Academy has created more than a dozen tips sheets that you can download and share.
