You may remember an article we posted in June about Steve Gleason, a former professional football player and MIC-KEY* Feeding Tube consumer, who’s teamed up with Halyard Health to help raise awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
To recap, at the age of 34, Steve was diagnosed with ALS and given a life expectancy of two to five years. He and his wife, Michel, are founders of Team Gleason, a non-profit organization that raises public awareness of ALS and, among other goals, helps to provide individuals with neuromuscular diseases or injuries with leading edge technology, equipment and services.
In our ongoing effort to support Steve, his family and Team Gleason, we’re excited to announce the nationwide release of the documentary, “GLEASON”. The film premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival and follows the journey of Steve Gleason’s ALS fight.
