Whether temperatures are rising or starting to cool down where you are, it’s always important to keep formula and blended meals at the proper temperature when you’re away from home. From quick errands on a hot day to longer outdoor adventures, having the right storage can help prevent food from spoiling.
Afternoon Outing:
If you’re only heading out for a few hours, a lunchbox-sized cooler is usually enough. Choose one with good insulation and space for feeding supplies like syringes and extension sets. Compact, lightweight options are ideal for short trips and easy carrying.
Day Trip:
For a full day at the beach, park, or on the go, a soft-sided cooler can be a great choice. These are often easier to carry than hard coolers and provide extra room for food and drinks. Many are designed to keep contents cold for extended periods and come in a range of sizes to fit your needs.
Overnight Excursion:
If you’ll be away overnight or longer without access to refrigeration, a larger hard cooler is likely your best option. These coolers are built for durability and can keep ice frozen for multiple days, even in warmer temperatures. Some models include wheels or handles for easier transport.
Other Options:
If you prefer not to carry a cooler, insulated bottles or canteens can also help keep liquids cold for hours. These are typically compact, leak-resistant, and easy to clean—making them convenient for storing smaller quantities. Many are designed to fit easily into a bag or backpack.
