It’s Feeding Tube Awareness Week!

MIC-KEY Cares is excited to share a wealth of helpful resources and inspiration to support you and your loved ones on every step of the journey during this Feeding Tube Awareness Week (FTAW)

Our goldendoodle mascot, Ava, has always loved expressing herself through creativity: drawing, coloring, and imagining stories that bring her world to life. Living with a feeding tube is part of Ava’s everyday journey, and she’s learned that when people understand feeding tubes better, they become a lot less scary.

Inspired by her own experiences, Ava came up with a paws-itively awesome idea to help bring the tubie community together. She wants to invite tubies to create artwork of her and share their creativity in a special art showcase.

Each piece of artwork will be entered into a raffle for a chance to receive special recognition on the TubeFed Facebook page, the TubeFed website, and featured on our monthly newsletter. This recognition celebrates creativity, amplifies tubie voices, and helps share stories that build understanding and confidence.

Ava’s Artwork Showcase is all about connection and self-expression—bringing the tubie community together to celebrate learning, inclusion, creativity, and being uniquely you.
